Kolada (Kommun- och Landstingsdatabasen — the Municipality and County Council Database) is an open database containing key indicators for Sweden's municipalities and regions. It is operated by the Council for the Promotion of Municipal Analysis (RKA), which is jointly owned by the state and SKR.

Kolada contains over 6,000 indicators spanning areas such as education, social care, public finance, and democracy. School-related indicators include cost per pupil, teacher density, proportion of certified teachers, and performance measures.

Use on Skolkoll

Skolkoll retrieves municipal data from Kolada's open API, including cost per pupil and other financial indicators displayed on the municipality pages.
