A standardised aptitude test that provides an alternative merit score for university admission.

The Swedish Scholastic Aptitude Test (högskoleprovet) is a standardised aptitude test administered twice a year. The test assesses verbal and quantitative ability and yields a score on a scale of 0.0–2.0. The result can be used as an alternative selection criterion for university admission.
