Safety in school (Trygghet)

Pupils' perceived sense of security and well-being at school. Measured through the School Survey and schools' own surveys.

Safety (trygghet) in school means that pupils should feel secure, respected, and free from harassment. According to the Education Act, the school provider must work preventively against degrading treatment and actively promote a safe school environment.

Measurement

Safety is primarily measured through the School Survey and schools' own surveys. Questions address whether the pupil feels safe, whether bullying occurs, and whether there are adults to turn to.
