Systematic quality assurance (systematiskt kvalitetsarbete) means that the school continuously and systematically plans, monitors, analyses, and develops its operations. It is mandated by the Education Act and applies at all levels — from the school provider to the individual school unit.
Process
Quality assurance follows a cycle: Where are we? Where are we heading? How do we get there? What was the result? The school analyses its outcomes (grades, national tests, surveys), identifies areas for development, implements improvements, and follows up on the effects. The documentation must be available for Skolinspektionen's inspections.
