SPSM (Specialpedagogiska skolmyndigheten — the National Agency for Special Needs Education and Schools) is a government agency with two main responsibilities: operating special-needs schools and providing special-educational support to schools across Sweden.
Support services
SPSM offers guidance, training, and support materials to schools teaching students with disabilities. The agency also produces accessible learning materials (Braille, sign language, easy-to-read texts) and distributes government grants for special support.
