The school unit register (skolenhetsregistret) is Skolverket's official register of all active school units in Sweden. The register contains basic information such as the school's name, address, school provider (huvudman), school type, and organisation number.
Content
The register is updated continuously and contains information about approximately 6,000 school units (compulsory schools, upper-secondary schools, and other school types). Each school unit has a unique school unit code that is used to link statistics to the correct school.
Usage
Skolkoll uses the school unit register as the foundation for its school database. Information about names, addresses, school providers, and school types is sourced from here and supplemented with statistics from SIRIS and other sources.
