Bedömningsstöd (assessment support materials) are resources produced by the National Agency for Education (Skolverket) to help teachers assess students' knowledge across subjects. Unlike national tests, assessment support materials are generally voluntary to use (with some exceptions in year 1).
Types
Assessment support materials come in many forms: diagnostic materials in mathematics and reading, annotated student examples, videos, and discussion guides. Mandatory assessment support materials for reading/writing development and number sense exist for year 1.
