Läslyftet (the Reading Boost) is the National Agency for Education's professional development programme aimed at strengthening students' reading and writing abilities by developing teachers' competence. The programme covers all subjects, not just Swedish.
Method
Läslyftet is based on collaborative professional learning — teachers work together with research-based modules, discuss, and try new methods in their teaching. The programme has reached tens of thousands of teachers since its launch in 2015.
