Student council (Elevråd)

The students' formal body for influence at school. Elected by students and represents them on issues of school environment and activities.

The student council (elevråd) is the students' formal body for influence in school. Representatives are elected by students in each class and meet regularly to discuss issues related to the school environment, well-being, and activities.

Influence

The student council can raise issues about school meals, the outdoor environment, breaks, rules, and activities. The principal must give the student council the opportunity to present their views and must consider them in relation to students' age and maturity. The student council contributes to democratic education and student participation in school development.
