Per-pupil funding (Elevpeng)

Informal term for school voucher — the amount the municipality pays per student to the school.

Calculation

The per-pupil funding is based on the municipality's average cost per student and is meant to cover teaching, premises, meals, student health services, and administration. The amount can vary between municipalities, school types, and year groups.
