Adapted upper secondary school (Swedish: anpassad gymnasieskola, formerly gymnasiesärskola) is upper secondary education adapted for students with intellectual disabilities. The programme is four years long and offers both national and individual programmes.
Programmes
The national programmes provide vocational training in areas such as administration, retail, crafts and hospitality. Individual programmes are aimed at students who need more individually tailored instruction. All programmes focus on preparing students for employment and adult life.
